Main area of activity of the structural unit:

Development of highly effective solar elements, obtaining of a thin layer hetero-conductors  nCds/p-CdTe and study of their properties. Obtaining of thin layers by method of chemical precipitation and study of their optical and photo-electric properties.

Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:

Application of method of chemical precipitation for obtaining of a thin layer CdS. Obtaining of a thin layer with the use of  ultra-violet spectrometer SPECORD-40M. Determination of width of prohibited zone of a layer. An attempt of analogical obtaining of a thin layer CdTe for inclusion to the environment of a tellurium component with the use of various compounds of tellurium.
