Main area of activity of the structural unit:

Study of kinetic and optical properties semiconductors, solid solutions, low dimensional system on the  A3B5 base, eutectics of the semiconductor-metal type.
Main scientific achievements of the structural unit:

  1. A theory of free carrier absorption is given for quash-two-dimensional and  quasi-one-dimensional ternary semiconducting structures when the carriers are scattered by alloy disorder.

  2. In the directly crystallized eutectic composition of  semiconductor-superconductor, where superconductive phase in the semiconductor matrix is formed in the form of parallel whiskers, it has been revealed the Josephson effect.
