Final meeting of working group on the prepare “State Program related on the use of Azeri language according to the demands of time during globalization and on the development of linguists in the country” was held at Presidium of ANAS on August 8, 2012.

Opening the meeting academician-secretary of the department, corresponding member of ANAS Kamal Abdullayev gave detailed information about activity of the working group and notified that, the meeting was devoted to the initial discussion of latest version of the State Program on development of linguistics.

Informing about the issues for the development of linguistics, Kamal Abdullayev made speech on activity of art councils in televisions, organization of language seminars regularly by the Institute of Linguistics, as well as the establishment of the monitoring group. He stressed the importance of systematization of vocabulary composition and grammatical norms of Azerbaijani language, elaboration of literary language norms, wide utilization of modern information-communication technologies by linguist scientists.

Taking part in discussions academician Vasim Memmedaliyev, corresponding members of ANAS Tofig Hajiyev, Nizami Jafarov, prof. Fakhraddin Veyselli, Doctor of philological sciences Yusif Seyidov, employees of ANAS Institute of Information Technologies Gulnara Nabibeyova and Afruz Gurbanova reported on the text of the State Program, stated their remarks, comments and suggests.
