At present, scientific-research works requires to use high-tech equipment creating more exactness and detailed opportunities of approach. In recent years, a number of important works are carried out on modern development of botanical science in Azerbaijan and laboratories are supplied with modern equipment with the support of ANAS leadership. With that end in view, executive director of Tokyo BOEKI Technology Company for CIS countries Alexey Shpak and general manager Vitaly Tinkov were at the Institute of Botany.

During the meeting director of the Institute Valide Ali-zadeh gave detailed information about scientific-research works with wide profile, international cooperation, achievements gained in recent years in the sphere of botany.

Dr.V.Tinkov, presented extensive information about the precise microscopes, analytical scanners, analyzers of elementary level and other modern equipment such as N-SIM, JEM, JSM, etc.

Later, extensive discussions with the employees of the institute were held and was noted that, utilization of such equipment will enhance the competitiveness of botanical science in Azerbaijan.

Head of Scientific and Organizational Department of ANAS, Ph.D. in mathematics Aminaga Sadigov stated that, representatives of Tokyo BOEKI Technology Company were accepted by the President of ANAS, Academician Mahmud Karimov and the first vice-president, Academician Arif Hashimov. He also added that, ANAS leadership is interested in buying modern scientific equipment and spoke about the importance and perspectives of cooperation with this company.
