A presentation of painting "Jalaleddin Rumi and Shams Tebrizi" created by Oktay Sadigzade, the People"s Artist of the Republic, has been held on July 30, 2004 at the Museum of Literature of ANAS named after Nizami Gyanjevi. Professor Rafael Husseynov, Doctor of Philology, Director of Sciences, has made an opening speech at the presentation, during which he told the audience about artistic activity of O. Sadigzade. Prof. R. Husseynov noted that at the moment the exhibits related to XIII century still constitute relatively small part of all exhibits of the museum. Prof. Husseynov also noted that the creative activity of Jalaleddin Rumi and Shams Tebrizi had great impact on development of oriental classic literature. Prof. Hussyenov expressed his gratitude to the author of painting for handing it over to the museum for presentation.

The author of painting O. Sadigzade has also made a speech at the presentation. The lecturer of the Lencoran State University Safar Shirinov has read out his translations of Jalaleddin Rumi"s verses.
