Main scientific achievements: | I have studied and investigated 8 centirues-old music science of Azerbaijan and published major work “Music science of Azerbaijan” (XIII-XX cc.), laid the basis of Azerbaijan musical mediavistics (source science), enriched Hajybayov science with new monographs and books (translated into 9 languages), published academic edition of musical wokrs of the composer, prepared the edition of medieval treatises of “Kitabul-advar”, “Sharafiya” (XIII c.) by S.Urmavi, “Musical code” by Fatullah Shirvani (XVc .), “Vizuhil-argam” (XIX c.) by M.M.Navvab, compiled and published the dictionary of ancient musical terms. I have published the monograph about the master of mugam J.Garyagdyoglu (in Azerbaijan and Russian). According to information which are presented in author`s books there reconstructed the ancient musical instruments. The melody of Urmavi of the XIII century in the interpretation of the author was sounded in the reconstructed musical instrument “nyuzkha”. |
