Has get fundamental researches inthe sphere of phonetics: a detailed analysis of the Azerbaijani phonetics system is given in his "The phoneme system of Azerbaijani: physiological, acoustic, statistical, phonological research" and other works. He is the author ofthe first precize and detailed research dedicated to the syntagmatic phonetics of turkological linguistics. He has grounded the existense of the category of row in in the turbic languages. The idea of creating thelogical type of turkis languages belongs to him. He has proved the interdependance of the metrics of poem with the phonetic structure of the language in which it is written.
